Dragon fruit in flower. They are such an odd looking plant and only flower at night. I often imagine this is what a triffid hybrid might look like.
If you notice the yellow dot above the flower at the bottom, it is actually the moon.

These pictures were taken the day before the Miners Cottage was torn down. The building was over 100 years old and was moved over 136km to its final resting place.

My husband and I share a love of things artistic. At one point in time we both enjoyed painting and were lucky enough to have sold a few. We also tried our hand at pottery. There is nothing more satisfying than throwing a lump of clay onto a wheel and moulding it into a wonky looking shape of some description. Over time we branched off into our own endeavours. He has continued his love of photography, while I delved into cross stitching for a while before deciding to concentrate on my writing. On this page Other Endeavours I hope to share with you some of his photos.
I also want to share some of the books, movies and tv shows I have enjoyed and/or have been inspirational to me in some form over the years.
But for now, here are a few photos. I hope you like them……
If you look closely you might catch a glimpse of a fire sprite, and why is that tree bleeding – is it really a dryad? And I would be wary of that moon, the wolves (alright dingos) howl at a moon like that…….. I just can’t seem to stop my imagination.
